Meet Our Marriage & Family Therapists
Nagla Mostafa, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
All relationships, even those we cherish the most, experience conflict at some point. However, when the level of conflict starts to take a toll on your well-being and the well-being of your loved ones, seeking help from a marriage and family therapist is essential. Couples and families are the fundamental building blocks of our lives, and their health directly impacts our mental and physical well-being. Relationship challenges are one of the leading causes of anxiety, depression, and stress. By resolving these challenges, you can spend quality time with the people you love without being consumed by fights and conflicts.
As a therapist, I employ the Gottman Method, which is one of the most effective forms of couples therapy available. Through this approach, I can help you address a variety of issues, including frequent conflicts and arguments, poor communication, emotionally distanced couples, specific problems such as sexual difficulties, infidelity, money, and parenting, and post-divorce counseling.
My experience with Gottman, Motivational Interviewing, and Family Systems Therapy comes from my training as a marriage and family therapist, as well as my years of experience working with families and couples. I’ve worked in various youth agencies such as 360 Youth Services and Aunt Martha’s Youth Services, and I’ve trained in the family therapy clinic at NIU.
My goal is to help you achieve the peace and happiness you desire in your relationships. There is no reason to let conflicts and challenges continue to cause stress and anxiety in your life.
Seek the help you need today to build healthy, loving, and fulfilling relationships with your significant other and your family.
